A fact about being an honors student is that you will gain numerous benefits. Nearly every student that walks away from the honors program remarks on the benefits they gained in very personal ways--new and diverse friendships, a sense of accomplishment, and a wider perspective on issues and life itself. After all, this is how it should be; an honors experience is nothing if it is not fulfilling in a personal sense.
